Portal – Still Alive Typography

Portal was a fantastic game. It was mentally challenging as players go through the different puzzles and levels.

The story of the whole game was rather simple, too simple actually. But it doesn’t actually matters.

The developers were smart and creative to provide a song at the end of the game, summing up almost everything you’ve been through.

Just stumbled upon this video (which was created months back I believe) that plays the game’s ending song.

The song itself is catchy and I can never forget about it. Now that someone’s made a typography styled video about it, I have to spread the joy of it.

It is Finally Over

What is done is done. There is no use crying over spilt milk but sometimes you just have to. Perhaps you wouldn’t cry then since it doesn’t do much but later on when you’re hungry and the thoughts of the milk being able to satisfy your hunger would make you cry. Similarly, the examinations that I just took were like the spilt milk. There is no use crying over how badly I think I’ve done, but just to accept the fact that I failed to plan and thus plan to fail. I wouldn’t of course start crying now for the grades aren’t back yet. For now, I’ll just be happy and go lucky till the day when the report cards are returned to us. Then, I would be crying thinking of how I could’ve done much better.

MTBig Planet

Little Big Planet and its awesome sack people. Hell yeah perhaps we should have a little big variety show or something shown on cable.

Cuteness at its very best.

Too bad ain’t got much time to touch my PS3 no more, but it is heart warming to see such videos once in a while.

Enjoy the video, yeah perhaps you can make one of those music videos as well.

Shii – Women’s Wii

Very sterotypical video but nonetheless hilarious. Might be offending to the female gender but please do take it lightly as it is just for fun and laughter. I in no sense find that women are only capable of doing such things as many have proven to be much more capable than men.

The video is done up by a Belgium comedy group I guess. Have fun watching.

Zeno Clash – A Weirdly Fantastic Game

Zeno Clash is a PC only first person brawler, independently developed and produced by ACE Team. It is available through both Steam and Direct2Drive at the price tag of $19.95 (Around $30 SGD). Zeno Clash puts you into a world of fantasy, blending both the first person point of view with an engaging melee combat system. Visuals are out of this world (in terms of their concept and design) and is uniquely pleasing to the eye. Storyline wise is yet again weird mainly due to the atmosphere and setting it takes place in. All in all the combat system together with the splendid visuals make it one heck of a game, a game that is weirdly fantastic. Continue reading

Save 40 Cents to Spend 40 Dollars

Students in my school are generally financially sound. Well, we have a few rich kids in here but I suppose almost everyone comes from an average family in terms of monetary value. The weird thing I’ve noticed is, that some (minority) just have the habit of “forgetting” to pay their bus fares. You see, for students we have that privilege of paying $0.44 per ride no matter the distance (student concession I think). I’ve no idea how and why do some people still not want to pay that amount of money. Come on, compare that with your Crumpler bag and perhaps Nike shoes, what is $0.44? Irony at its greatest.
