A few years back, I have compiled a list of Korean 27” 1440P monitors and wrote a bunch of information about them. It was a well-received article and rightfully so given the whole Korean monitor craze spreading like wildfire. Here I am again compiling some information regarding Korean monitors. This time around we are going bigger and more pixels. I am talking about 40” (39 ~ 42” to be more specific) 4K monitors that are not that cheap but definitely provides great value. Continue reading
These monitors have recently caught the eyes of many netizens. For the past few months they have been hyped up quite dramatically due to the sheer value they have. I present to you the budget Korean 27” IPS monitors. They are sold in Korea for quite some time already but are only known to the world after being spotted on eBay for an extremely attractive price. This post will serve as a short introduction to these monitors as well as a short consumer review on one of the budget monitors that I have recently purchased. Read on for some information that I have researched and collected prior to purchasing the monitors followed by my review on the monitor that I bought. Continue reading
If you’ve been following my twitter, I did a countdown for IT Show 2009. Excitement, eagerness and anxiety filled me as the days got nearer. Today, I was filled with joy and my heart almost burst due to an overload of adrenaline from the anticipation. I still had school in the morning, so I had to contain all the exhilaration during the lessons. Finally it was time to set off with a couple of friends. Public transport was the only mean of travelling for none of us were eligible to drive (quite obvious). We had the choice of the MRT or bus, ended up taking bus all the way to Suntec City. We walked for a bit before reaching the exhibition halls, preparing ourselves with the amount of crowd already present outside. The top floors were first, went in and systematically browsed through the different stalls. Continue reading
I have always wondered about the differences between buying second hand games and buying it completely new and sealed. Of course buying second hand games would mean saving more money. This applies greatly on console games. After finishing a game, selling it would mean an additional sum of money in my pockets to prepare for purchase of the latest games. Also, buying second hand games would mean more games but lesser money. However, it is known that by buying second hand games, it would mean that the game developers are not going to earn additional money from you. Good or bad? In my opinion it is great for not only the consumer but the producer as well.
Now comes the third category which most probably does not apply to current generation consoles (yet). That is pirating games. Easily downloadable off the net or bought from street tenders, pirated games are always hot among gamers. However, for current generation games (PS3 and Xbox 360), piracy have yet spread to it.
Both Advertlets and Nuffnang are companies and places of revenue for webmasters, bloggers, especially in the region of Asia (specifically Malaysia and Singapore). Though they both aim the provide users with an alternative source of income through their website, they both run on different system. It may seem rather unclear on how different Nuffnang and Advertlets are but I hope after reading my article you will have a clearer view on which is “better” for you.
Recently there have been several complaints by bloggers on Nuffnang on why they have not been receiving advertisement offers for several weeks or months. These outbursts of anger also include them being angry on how they realized that they advertised Nuffnang without being paid. Almost all of those that complained switched to Advertlets as they no longer want to wait anymore. However, on the other end bloggers that are currently getting the advertisement offers showed their disagreement and debated back. All these debating sure sound intense but there is only one suggestion to both ends. If you do not receive your advertisement offers, so be it. Nuffnang is not for you. For those who have received offers over and over again, good for you.
