Colorix is a fantastic tetris-like strategic puzzle game. The concept behind the game isn’t very new but the execution and the additional mechanics make it such a beauty. Colorix was firstly released on the Android and just recently ported to the iPhone. This review is based on the iPhone version. Tetris (Russian: Ð¢ÐµÌÑ‚Ñ€Ð¸Ñ) is a puzzle video game originally designed and programmed by Alexey Pajitnov. It was created on June 6, 1984, while he was working for the Dorodnicyn Computing Centre of the Academy of Science of the USSR in Moscow. He derived its name from the Greek numerical prefix “tetra- (all of the game’s pieces, known as Tetrominoes, contain four segments) and tennis, Pajitnov’s favorite sport.
