Playing a Game that Plays by Itself

Maybe its just the current lack of interest to play or complete any games that resulted in me liking a game that plays by itself. You know those clicker games? Yeah, I’ve been actively “playing” one for the past few weeks. Clocked over 300 hours and counting. Do try it out, you’ll get some entertainment out of it I supposed.

Windows 10: Privacy and Important Settings

For those of you who have upgraded or installed Windows 10, you might be worrying a little regarding all the privacy issues and problems that people are raising throughout the net. Let’s just put it this way, the issues that people are making a fuss out of is not anything new in the tech world. Your smartphones are the best examples as to some of the things that Microsoft have brought over to the desktop environment. I must say though that having most of such settings opt-out rather than opt-in is the main cause of worry and anger. Anyhow, these are some of the privacy and more important settings that you might want to take note of.

Value Korean 40” 4K Monitors – Information and Comparison of the Different Brands and Models

A few years back, I have compiled a list of Korean 27” 1440P monitors and wrote a bunch of information about them. Windows 8 Memory Leak Fix

Lately, I started noticing that my computer was extremely unresponsive and barely functional at times. I initially thought that it was due to some kind of virus or malware but using reputable anti-virus software and malware scanners proved that my computer was nothing but clean. I then spotted high memory usage out of completely no where. Upon further inspection, the “non-paged pool” section used up to 90% of my RAM (I had 16 GB of RAM installed). Upon further research, I realize that this is a problem that many faced two years back. Somehow I only realize it now.

This particular problem might be affecting users of motherboard or computers with Killer NIC (network interface controller) installed. You might face it out of no where as well. The problem lies within the Windows Network Data Usage Monitor Driver suffering from memory leakage. Apparently it keeps logging and allocating memory to itself to the point that it takes up all available memory. The fix is basically to turn off the Windows driver from starting. Continue reading
