iPhone Robokill Review

Robokill is a top-down mech shooter that just received an update that introduced a new survival mode. It is a direct port of a flash game that was introduced years back, a flash game that I had once enjoyed. With great success, the port is extremely smooth and gameplay experience is as fun as ever. Blasting and destroying enemy robots never had been so fun and addictive, even more so with some other touches such as RPG elements and robot customizations implemented within the game. For the price tag of $0.99, how does the game fair? Continue reading

iPad Bar Star HD Review

Bar Star HD is the iPad version of Bar Star, a time-management game where players are to ensure the smooth running of a bar. Like all time-management games, you have to be quick with your fingers and smart in planning who to serve first and who to ignore. With such skills, the game will then be of a piece of cake. If not, be prepared to start feeling the stress as you fail to serve those customers on time!  The main difference between the iPad version (which this review is based on) and the iPhone version, is the graphics catered for the resolution of the iPad. Other than that the gameplay is pretty much identical. Continue reading

Not happy being imprisoned, he decides to escape. That is where you come in. You are to guide his escape from the persistent gravity guards by flipping gravity whenever needed and running away as fast as you can. Continue reading

iPhone Fragger Game Review

Fragger LogoThere are many games that follow the formula of the popular Angry Birds: throwing stuff, destroying objects within the support of a physics engine that makes things interesting. Fragger is something like that, but instead of flying birds and exploding pigs, you get to fling dangerous grenades to destroy the enemies. Recently, they have just introduced a free Christmas update, which includes new levels with a Christmas theme overarching them, allowing players to not only enjoy the game even more but also to build up the pre-Christmas hype. Shoot to Kill HD Review

Shoot to Kill is an action arcade survival game for the iPhone as well as the iPad. This review is based on the HD version for the iPad. The gameplay and overall feel to the game should, however, be similar for both devices. The basic outline of the game is to simply shoot your way through the depths of hell and survive till you get out of it. Yeah, don’t ask me how the hell you smuggled a gun in. Read on for the review.
