Stranded Without a Phone Review

Stranded Without a Phone is a puzzle RPG simulation liked game for the iPhone and iPod Touch.  It plays a little like the Sims with a touch of puzzle elements such as combining items and stuff as well as RPG elements such as efficiency in hunting and so on. If you are going hunting make sure to bring your best rifle and your spotting scope. I love simulation games and Stranded Without a Phone is no doubt a rather interesting and addictive game. It is now out for $1.99 at your local Appstore. Continue reading

Twistrix Game Review

Twistrix is a classic style puzzler in which players pit their brains against pre-defined coloured ball puzzles. The main objective is to shift the balls and their placement to get all similar coloured balls in a single column. It works something like the rubix cube just that now it is played in a cylinder format (strategy etc all different). The game is now out for the iPhone and iPod Touch at the price of $0.99 Continue reading

CubeHead iPhone Game Review

The King Has Returned In CubeHead or Cubehead in short is a bejeweled puzzle styled game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. There are some tweaks to the gameplay concept but overall it still closely follows that of bejeweled. Instead of swapping the different shapes’ positions, you shift the columns and rows to match a combination of 3 or more similar shapes within a straight line or row. The game is now out for $0.99 at your local appstore. Continue reading

Jailbreak: Voice Onrush Review

Jailbreak: Voice Onrush is based on a Nintendo DSi Ware game (Escapee GO!) and is ported over to the iPhone and iPod Touch. The game has a very simple storyline to it and it goes something like this: You wake up in a cell with no memories of your own. All information of yourself is unavailable and you are being hunted down by an unknown enemy for god knows what reason. You have to run away from these people, escape and save yourself. With the aid of new found powers along the way, you have to succeed in escaping from the enemies’ hands. Continue reading

Cocoto Magic Circus iPhone Review

Cocoto Magic Circus was first introduced as a Wii Shooter. This time, it has been ported over to the iPhone and iPod Touch. This review is based on the handheld iPhone version. Cocoto Magic Circus is kind of like an arcade shooter with series of mini-games. You go from stages to stages completing tasks to proceed while failing in doing so results in a lost in life. The game is now out for $0.99 at your local appstore for a limited time. Continue reading

Rise of The Triad iPhone Review

Rise of the Triad (RoTT) was ported over to the iPhone and iPod Touch just this month. It is a retro styled first person shooter that plays like earlier FPS games such as DOOM, Duke and Wolfenstein. I haven’t played much of retro FPSes but I do remember DOOM being a really fun game back then. Didn’t hear much of RoTT except that it was supposedly a sequel or expansion to that of Wolfenstein 3D. Continue reading
