Being restricted to solely using wireless for my internet connection, I’ve been spending much time finding ways to improve my wireless connection and speed. I’ve tried many configurations, placing routers here and there and wherever I had cables running to. After a few days of testing, I’ve gotten the most optimum position for the placement of my wireless router and configuration. Not wanting to spend too much money, I decided against upgrading my wireless router but instead searched for other cheaper improvements that I can try out. I’ve then decided to change the wireless antennas of my wireless PCI adapter. Continue reading
I’ve been making videos for quite some time already. For all my audio recordings so far, I’ve been relying on the microphone on either the video camera or on my headset. Neither of them are good solutions for recording but I had to make do with what I have. Having endured the poor audio recording quality for months, I’ve decided to spend some money to buy a better microphone. With careful considerations and in-depth research, I’ve narrowed down my options to 2 USB microphones. They are the Audio-Technica AT2020 and the Blue Yeti microphones. The title of the article should tell you what I eventually ended up with. Continue reading

Hauppauge Colossus is an internal PCI Express HD-PVR. In simpler terms, it is an internal card that is fixed within your computer that records high-definition footage from a video source. As such, the name HD-PVR stands for, High Definition Personal Video Recorder. I am mainly using the Colossus to record gameplay footage from my PS3 as well as my PC. This review will thus revolve around mainly my experience in using the Colossus for gameplay recording rather than other types of recording such as TV footage and others. If you’re in the market looking for a new capture card, read on for my review and some test footages of the Colossus. Continue reading
The Acase leather case is one of the types of accessories that iPad owners will be looking out for. Around three weeks back, I made a post informing you readers that some PSP accessories are on their way to my house for reviewing. And they did come a week after I made that post. The review however was delayed due to the fact that my PSP was under servicing (its spoilt). Still, I am glad that the servicing was done a few days back and that now I have the time to do a proper review on the accessories I received.
I ordered/requested, for 5 different products, 4 of which are specially made for the PSP and one for general use. To be honest with you people, out of all 5 of them, I am only satisfied with 2. This review will tell you why I dislike the rest, and why I like the others.
