IT Show 2010 Marks March Holidays

March holidays have begun! It is time to start my engine and read my lit books. Loads of pages from so many different books I have yet to finish reading. I better buck up my reading skills before the next term starts for semi major examinations are on the way. Anyways, before I talk about what I’m going to do during the holidays and perhaps give a summary of whatever happened in this whole term, I’ll like to talk about the IT Show I just attended. Beginning of School Life

School life had begun a month and weeks back. I however, consider the official beginning of school just maybe a week or two ago. Lessons are as per usual, teachers come in to teach and give us assignments, students going to their after school activities so on and so forth. School has not been of much difference from last year. The only things that have changed are the welcoming of female students as well as the longer school hours and thus assuming that indeed school will be much more taxing in the weeks and months to come. The Real Orientation of 2010

Finally this week we experienced the real orientation that was meant to, I quote from Wikipedia, “help orient and welcome new students”. Of course the orientation I went through included many “social activities” and I must say that it was fun while it lasted. Today, it all ends and school is about to begin proper. But till then, I shall enjoy the moments I had within this week. Continue reading

Boring School Orientation Week

This is written in continuation of the post I wrote a few days back about the boring start. Well, nothing much has changed. The same old boring school days. I don’t feel that the days ahead can get any better anyways. I guess for this few weeks or days at least, I can write a whole series of Boring School posts. What makes me sad is that this whole period of time spent in school is called “orientation week”. Continue reading

Boring Start of School

Start of school has been nothing but boring. I guess it is because all these activities we are currently doing are fantastic “enrichment” programmes. Maybe because official date for Junior Colleges to start is two days later and the full cohort of my level has yet to arrive thus they played down on the stuff that we are doing. I think it’ll be much more fun once everyone comes. Bah that just means that once everyone settles in a week time school is going to start doing what schools are built for; knowledge, study, examinations and stress. Continue reading

Final Battle 2009

Ready! Set…. Fi… I ain’t ready yet. I can’t set myself. I can’t fight. Bloody hell, it is just 3 days more till the start of the final battle of 2009. This battle would most probably be the same for almost every student who are currently studying (I don’t think it applies to university students). It is the end of year examinations, the most important examination of the whole year. Awesome stuff are always packed for the last. Continue reading
